WHEE....SUN.
Finally, we have summer! The last 3 weeks have been anything but calm. School is out (18th), they have a really late let out date. Last 2 weeks there has been something every night and it has rained through just about all of it. It poured the day of the school carnival, then a 1/2 hour before we got there, it stopped. Dalton had a blast with his friends. Next morning he had to get up early for his last baseball game. After the last out, the mothers and I looked at each other and said "this is sad". Dalton had a really fun bunch of friends on his team. Parents were great......kids are amazing. The coach's did such a great job, head coach loves baseball, his son is Easton....get the picture. Phoenix had volleyball camp for a week, every night after school.
While all this was going on Gabe went up to Alaska for 2 weeks to do a tile job and fished a little. He got back and Gabe's brother Josh, his wife Kristi and their twins stayed for a few days on there way to Texas. Gabe and Josh were in the wedding line of one of their very good friends (Shawn). Of course, Gabe being Gabe, comes up with the idea of letting off fireworks right after the kiss at the wedding. One of the guys, instead of twisting the fuses together, ties them together. Well, the first one goes up and drags the others behind it. Just think about it....of course the others don't go straight up and the started shooting everywhere. The wedding party is screaming, people are ducking, protecting their children. HA, no one was injured in this glorious display. Oh, did I mention "miss communication"...they let them off right before the kiss, so they had to wait until AFTER the pandimonium. Good thing Shawn is so good natured and would not expect anything less from "the guys" LOL
