Yup, I can actually have a snow heading. So much for the beach house, it's officially a winter resort here today. It is beautiful! Kids had 2 hr. late days, Mon & Tue. it was too cold for the kids at the bus stops & ice on the roads...highs have been 26. Woke up to a foot of snow this a. Most people here (including us) don't even own a snow shovel.
.m. and it's been snowing off and on all day. They closed the schools today and tomorrow. We have been out in the snow all day. The kids playing, me.. shoveling and knocking snow off our 1,000 plants and trees. Also thinking, wow... I could make a lot of money if I had a snowblower!!!
After school yesterday, Phoenix had an away volleyball game, the roads were good enough to go. Their first match was a little slow, the ball did not even come to Phoenix. She played the third match and played really well. 4th match the coach subed her in 1/4 way, she was hitting everything and making some awesome plays (even when she was not trying). She served 5 points, got the momentum going and they were ahead 24/12, she was up to serve. She has been working on her overhand serve with little success. She got up and did a overhand serve, whammied it all the way to the other side of the court and landed a foot away from the line. They won the game and I think Phoenix was floating. LOL Think that will be their last game of the season, I'll miss watching them. Love the game

About Me

- Life is full of dreams and prayers and I just hang on by the seat of my pants. I feel so blessed by our family and adventures. Never getting too comfortable..you never know what turn is in the river. When we moved to our property I had no idea the effect it would have on our lives. There was a quote in one of the local papers describing our area "I lived in paradise and then died and had to go to heaven".

That is exciting that Phoenix and team won their game. Sounds like she is playing well.
It's crazy the difference between UT and WA. We could get 3 ft of snow overnight here and school still wouldn't be cancelled. Oh well, such is life. What do I care? I'm not in school anymore.
PS. I'm glad you liked my hot lips. I told Tyler to find me the brightest pink or red lipstick he could find. That is what they wore back in the 40's.
