Enough already. First it's snow and cold and now RAIN!!! It's 50 outside right now and raining
to beat the the band. All the rivers are overflowing and at flood stages. We are fine where we are, but all the surrounding towns with any kind of stream/river (which is almost every town)
is going to be affected. Phoenix came out of school and announced "NO school tomorrow". AHHH They are going to be in school until July at this rate and it's only January.
We walked up to our pond to check things out. It is...need I say full. There is an inlet and outlet so it will not flood over. It is a natural stream that heads down to the water in the springtime. Kids had fun playing in the standing water and exploring, following the stream up into the forest.

About Me
- sandyseabunz
- Life is full of dreams and prayers and I just hang on by the seat of my pants. I feel so blessed by our family and adventures. Never getting too comfortable..you never know what turn is in the river. When we moved to our property I had no idea the effect it would have on our lives. There was a quote in one of the local papers describing our area "I lived in paradise and then died and had to go to heaven".
